Thank you for your interest in Hopeful Notes!
In case you aren't familiar with what we do, we are a 501c that organizes at least one event per year in the Denver/Golden, CO area. Our mission is to raise money from our immediate Music community, friends and colleagues to buy instruments for kids that want to learn to play.
Our method is simple, we host an event where we invite local Musicians to be partake in an evening of Music, while we're reveling in the night we take up donations. We then take that money and source instruments locally that we deliver to the parents of any kid we hear of. We rely on word of mouth within our community to become aware of any needs. We work with the parents of the kids to find out what they want and go buy whatever instrument and supporting gear they want and need, where we then hand deliver it to their front door.
We work quickly and effectively! Our concern is not the income levels of the parents, our concern is alleviating the want of the child with all things related to the what and how of all things related to buying an instrument.
This entire effort is fueled by a growing group of Music lovers all across the state of Colorado and the United States. We aim to diminish the financial barriers of learning to play Music because Music is medicine and our future selves will certainly need the songs that the next generation!
